ETA: Sorry guys for not explaining! Ok, so you know that girl who I am crazy jealous of who got a perfect score last year for the subject I also took(legal) well it involves her and my friend.

So that girl, let's call her "N" is REALLY good at everything-maths science english EVERYTHING. So her english teacher this year, for a practice sac gave her a B on an essay and she got pissed off, asked to be moved(I'm not certain but have it on good authority that she claimed the teacher was racist) and was moved immediately.

So firstly, this is wrong on about a billion levels. Our school has a 'no switching classes policy'. Most people in her class failed that essay. I've had that teacher before, she gave my three friends and me As-A+s was never racist, and in fact it was one of my three friends this year who got the only A for that essay. And she's indian.

Everyone who's in that english class is extremely pissed off. Everyone in the other english class she moved to are extremely pissed off. I guess we don't like people who are too smart? Anyway, so I didn't personally have a problem with it because N's my friend AND it didn't affect me because I wasn't in either english class.

UNTIL, my friend let's call her 'F' wanted to also change chemistry classes because her teacher, genuinely was an ass to her and rolled his fucking eyes at her everyone time she asked him a question. So she went to the (new) vice principal and asked him to be moved and he shot her down completely. And she pointed out that N was allowed to switch which he has the nerve to reply 'she had special circumstances and I'm sure N would not like to hear that we've been discussing her situation' and then fucking made her cry because 'she was being lazy' because YOU KNOW THE VP IS FRIENDS WITH HER CHEM TEACHER AND OMFG HE WOULD NEVER ROLL HIS EYES AT A STUDENT!!!

So yeah, she told me and fucking hell I was just about ready to slap him. I hate him. And so does everyone else. Our old vp was a gun and now we have to listen to that slobby, bald-headed hypocrite. So yeah, uggh I was going to go talk to Mr. Argyle but I mentioned it to F and she told me not to because it might just make her case worse.

She's going to talk to her old chem teacher but can you see the injustice? It makes my blood boil. All private schools are concerned with is producing 99.95s so they can get more people to pay their ridiculous fees. And us mere mortals? We'll we're just screwed.

It's so fucked up. And as much as I like Nat, which I do, I really hope she gets a 99.90 just because I think it would make our whole year level secretly smile on the inside. Seriously.

Skins season 4 is seriously turning out to be brilliant-I am sooo relieved. I hope the first two episodes were a fluke because episode3 and now episode 4 have just really hit the mark.

Toned down the slapsticked, upped the character development, made the sex less whimsical and the people more believe.

For all those ljers across the country and especially in victoria take a minute to mourn the victims of the tragic loss of the 150 + people who lost their lives and the COUNTLESS more whose homes, livelihood and family perished in the bushfires.

I feel so so lucky at the moment. Although we're mourning as a nation I think I'm just so lucky to be alive. And I can't IMAGINE the thoughts those people would have gone through...running for their lives, trying to protect their families. It's just so devastating :(:(


On saturday my biggest worry was that I hadn't finished my maths homework and some people were going throught this:




It really puts things into perspective. I just hope that we,as a state, as a country never have to go through sometihng on this scale with so much tragedy, loss and devastation ever again.

Roger Federer losing the Australian Open was the first thing to make me cry for this year.

Not giving in to bad eating habits, not finding out that Kush is an asshole, not feeling overwhelmed by SACs and the pressure of year 12.

I couldn't even watch the prize giving ceremony because watching him cry KNOWING that he was on the verge of making history made me die a little inside.And everything that's happened in the last month came back to memory and I couldn't even hold it in. I hate being weak. But I hate that he lost because he seems like the nicest guy. And I WANT to see him go down in the history books. And as no.1 again.

And I wanted to see him do it at the AUSTRALIAN OPEN because let's face it, this is the slam that favours the 'underdog'. I hated that match with a passion.

Secondly, In English TV show land of course, How I met your mother, Big Bang theory, Eli Stone, Privileged and Gossip girl OWN ME.

Neil patrick Harris is AMAZING in How I met your mother. I was rooting for him at the golden globes! He really deserves SOMETHING. And if you've seen the latest episode, you'll know why :)

LEGEN-WAIT FOR IT-DARY!

The Big Bang theory really brings out the nerd in me. I am NOT a physics nerd but I am pretty nerdy in general. I first started watching this on a whim and now watch it religiously. My cousin(who IS a freaky physics nerd) got into it and now we (me, her, her brother) watch it together. Another gem of a sitcom I just love it because it's actually funny and no matter how lost I get with all the super smart comments thrown around I still laught at Wolowitz complete incompetence in getting a girl. Or Sheldon being digusted by human contact. Or Raj being mute all the time. It's SUCH an amazing show. I love it =]







Eli Stone just pushes all the right buttons for me because it's a lawyer drama and duh, I want to be a lawyer. And unlike Boston Legal which, let's just say is a little morally ambiguous albeit being awesome Eli Stone makes its character more humane. And I really like the philosophical angle they add to it. Only thing I hate? IT'S CANCELLED! So only 4 episodes left of what could have been great. *sigh*

 

 


Gossip girl is still awesome but hasn't gained that level of awesomeness that was consistent in season one. Yes there have been episodes here and there( ep 4 when Serena went all Queen S, ep 13 and 14 when Chuck was all broody and extra hot)but I HATED this episode for the most part.

Stop toying with us ,the majority of Gossip Girl viewers who are Chuck/Blair fans. Goddamit! You advertise sex I want sex! I WANT SEXY, DRUNKEN LIMO SEX WITH BLINK 182 PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND (ok, let's ignore my kinkiness so it's not awkward) Why must he sleep with fugly whores but not sexy-as-hell Blair? (Did you SEE that black skank dress she was wearing for her "friendly" dinner with Chuck. Rowr she stole Serena's wardrobe and boobs!) Seriously, What is WRONG with you, you chuck basstard.

Anyway, so favourite lines this episode?
"why do you wear so much purple?" Heee love that they acknowledge the fugliness of Chuck's wardrobe
"pining over Dan and moving on by dating Nate Archibald. Talk about failing upwards" So.Much.Word. Love the mini-minions.

OMFG. WHY GOSSIP GIRL? WHY ARE YOU TORTURING US?!

They are easily the hottest non-couple on tv. You know the episode is off when Dan/Serena are cuter/more interesting than Blair/Chuck. So so wrong.


And another CW show I'm liking is Privileged which is consistently surprising me. It's a little gem and I love it. I really like the "family" dynamic because they're not cheesy and fake like 90210 with everyone playing scrabble and "Talking about their problems" Seriously what?



And the baker twins make me wish I was close to my sister.


Oh yeah LOTS of eyecandy. Will, Charlie, Luis *phew* these girls are busy =]

Korean Hana Yori Dango
Me and 99% of the asian drama loving portion of my flist are swooning over it and rightly so. GOD DAMN IT'S SOOO PERFECT. I love it. I love it. I love Joon Pyo. I love his mannerism. His weird, fugly curly hair. His height(in comparison to hers of course:D) I love the prettiness. I love their love story. I love the other F4 boys. Ohhh it's soo good.


I wonder if they have like a special TEAM to do his hair? It's like its own character!

This is my KOREAN HANA YORI DANGO PIMP POST.
Warning: obviously lots of fanservecy pictures may cause hyperventilation

Let me start by saying I am MAJORLY obsessed with Hana Yori Dango(boys before flowers) in any form (other than the anime which I haven’t seen-yet) . It was my first (unofficial) drama. And I was so frickin’ excited when I heard about the Korean version.

Angsty love triangle between two friends who fall for the same girl? Rich, conceited bad boy falls for naïve but spunky poor girl? Domineering mother? Star cross’d lovers? Terrible, terrible hair?

Check. Check. Check.

How I love thee KDRAMAS =]

And holy shit the eyecandy. O.o

I never found the taiwanese f4 particularly attractive(except for Vic Zhou) and ditto for Jap version (except for Oguri Shun). But here? I love oogling at ALL of them. Great *ahem* casting =]

So for all you newbies WHAT IS HANA YORI DANGO you ask?

Hana Yori Dango is this famous japanese manga about a 17 year old poor but hard-working and bubbly Makino Tskushi who locks horns with uber rich, selfish and unfathomably arrogant Domyouji Tsukasa who has is exceedingly rude, bossy, egotistical and seemingly heartless. Like thinks EVERYONE is beneath him, treats people like dirt, orders people to lick his shoes(literally) and doesn’t accept anything less than complete obedience.

So when Makino (who attends the same school on a scholarship) is fed up with his atrocious behaviour challenges him after trying to stick up for her “friend” Sakurako (who btw is a crazy, crazy stalkerish bitch) he falls for her. Because she’s the first person to stand up to him and put him in his place(and this reminds him of his sister who he admires/adores. Hmmm sibcest?) .

Of course Makino is in love with one of Domyouji’s best friends the quiet, thoughtful(and crazy pretty) Hanazara Rui who is actually sweet towards her(in comparison to Domyouji who doesn’t understand relationships /flirting/women therefore believes he must insult and taunt her to show her he cares. Rofl.)

And then there is the other two in “F4” (flower four guys. The name of their ‘group’ aka Domyouji, Rui, Akira and Soujiroh. Yes, they are all very manly =] Soujiroh is a complete playboy who gets involved with Makinos best friend Yuki(but has his own secret past which btw was one of my FAVOURITE parts in Jap HYD and made me cry. Poor, poor jiroh =[. And Akira who has a thing for older women and will one day take over his fathers mob business.

And there’s also Shizuka who Rui likes but is older. Oh and Domyouji’s CRAZY mum who doesn’t like him getting involved with a ‘lowly’ commoner. (P.S I'm not used to the Korean names just yet so I'm using the Japanese names, although I'm sure you guys won't mind too much =] )

Like I really really wanted to do a recap of 2008 and all (which I am STILL DOING *sigh*) but ashjkfsdhsk that was BEFORE I watched Korean HYD.  So I'll do this first. And if you recall me speculating and talking about my doubts about the cast THEY HAVE COMPLETELY VANISHED.

Ok, so I'll start with the fact that DOOMSDAY...aka VCE RESULTS (for me, legal studies for my sister, her actual mark) is going to be TOMORROW.  My sister is receiving her ENTER and I'm just so selfish I really haven't thought for a minute about what she'll get because all I can think(and cry, worry and pull my hair out) about is my own mark. And it's just a single number. Hopefully over 41.


God, just thinking about it(which I have been. Alot.) makes me feel sick.

Wish me luck :) I'm going to need it. And a pool to drown in if I get less than 41

I had my legal exam today. All those hours and hours(I would say 250+) gone within two hours. And I honestly can't say how I went until i get the results. I'm expecting, since I can't think of anything I majorly screwed up a 40+but I'm still nervous.

I was so elated when I came out-I'd done the extended response before as a practice twice so it was great, I had time to read over and all the questions where generally quite easy(although there was ONE that I found a little difficult-I wasn't quite sure on) but overall I was quite happy.

STILL...IDK. I'll have to wait until december 15th. Fuck I'm scared now. I thought I went alright but now all I can do is rethink over it and just keep thinking about all the possible mistakes. Oh god. This is a tad daunting.

The questions were also a little different from the years before but that wasn't too much of a problem-I actually liked the new questions. I liked the ADRs question, all the parliament, the democratic/human right protection, strenght of parliament and the civil litigation and of course the ten marker with Constitution division + high court and referendum.

Hated the doctrine of precedent, the 'three mistakes' question and the police powers-IDK really. I could have really FUCKED it up but I won't know until I get my study score. I'm definately not expecting a 50 now. Damn.

OK, so 17TH BIRTHDAY SOON =]
I can't wait!! And then more exams!! YAY!! ....not.

uggh. I am going to be the happiest person on the 25th after exams finish-and then become all emo over my study score(or really elated?) I just don't know what to expect. Uggh....screw you VCE so much!!
